The VA-DC tournaments in November/December are for FIRST LEGO League (FLL).  This is the program for ages 9 to 14.  



Jr. FIRST LEGO League (Jr. FLL) does not have competitive tournaments.  This program, for ages 6 to 9, attends Jr. FLL Expos.  VA-DC FLL is an official partner of Jr. FLL--so they will be hosting Jr. FLL Expos this season (mostly likely during the spring months --March to May). Unlike FLL, Jr. FLL teams can attend any Jr. FLL Expo.  This gives team many choices of Jr. FLL Expos to attend.  Also, Jr. FLL teams can attend multiple Jr. FLL Expos.  MD FIRST will be hosting some Jr. FLL Expos during their FLL and FTC tournaments in January and February. Jr. FLL teams are also encouraged to connect with other Jr. FLL teams within the U.S. and internationally.  This is a great way for Jr. FLL teams to reach out to a much larger audience and different cultures.  Teams can collect and share stickers on-line as a way to recognize each other's accomplishments. I am trying to find our the schedule for the Junior FLL, but could not

find much info from the websites. It says that the tournament period
