Also see Robot Game Update 3 at
http://firstlegoleague.org/challenge/robotgameupdates. [The Updates
are really important--more important than any of the other Robot Game
documents.]

"Every year there's one mission that's supposed to make the challenge
impossible to finish"

In fact, it is not believable that any robot will score 118 points out
of the Cardiovascular mission. Even if the robot did no other
missions, in a 250-second match the robot would have to average 7
seconds for each trip. And the trips get progressively less
worthwhile (with one notable exception.)

I hope that your teams won't think that just because they cannot
achieve all the mission points, that the mission isn't worthwhile. It
is designed for teams of all skill levels to be able to continuously
improve. Does your team have 20 seconds left over in the match, where
the robot will just be sitting around? Then send it to the cardio
machine and earn 5 more points! (Or 3) (or maybe 13, but I doubt that
I'll see more than one of those...)

Newer teams that cannot score on other missions will probably be able
to do this one several times.
Experienced teams that want to maximize their scores will look for
ways to do it faster and squeeze one more click into their match.
All teams will have to weigh the risk of trying for one more cardio
click versus allowing enough time to earn points on the Transitions
mission.

With the introduction of the "unending" or "infinite" missions, the
Robot Game is more open ended, and introduces more strategy and
decisions for teams to make, as well as allowing all teams the
opportunity to keep scoring points during the match.
