Jenn - we had a ton of trouble with error codes and solved the issue with a patch for NXT 2.1. The patch isn't on the NXT download site; instead, you have to go to the Lego Education Website at http://education.lego.com/en-gb/preschool-and-school/secondary-11-18/11plus-lego-mindstorms-education/downloads/. Hit the drop down and select software and then select NXT EDU 2.1f3 Patch.
This may or may not be your issue....but thought I would at least make the suggestion.

Subject: [VADCFLL-L] Corruption Error
Yesterday my team hit an error code. It just won't download the one file. I cut and pasted the last half and it worked fine. I retyped in the first half, and hit the same error. Their program is 18 or so move blocks in a row.
Our tournament is tomorrow. Should I keep fooling around with it, or just let them run the first half of their program that is finished, and leave the last half to run into obsticles?
