I'm glad to hear we are not alone.  I told a parent today that I will be
surprised if we get any of the tasks done on the table. This is our second
year with the same team.  They re-built the robot for the 7th time yesterday
(much to my chagrin).  Our research and presentation are in great shape, but
the table will be a real challenge.  It looked so easy a couple of weeks
ago, but has proven to be very difficult.  A tip of the hat to the designers
this year.

Brian, take heart.  We did not think we'd get anywhere last year as a rookie
team and ended up in first place.  We'll be right with you guys this year.

This is my 6th season coaching, and this is as far behind I have had a
team, ever. This years missions are deceptively difficult, and the
kids haven't been focused on the research. So, we're behind on all
fronts.
