I have a two-part answer for you.
(1) The scoring conditions in the Mission say that the robot has to
be touching the center platform. Rule 26 defines "Touching", and says
that "Any amount of direct contact counts as touching." So, even the
tiniest piece of the robot touching the center platform is enough.
(2) The scoring conditions in the Mission say that the robot is
touching the "center platform only". So, in order to score points,
the robot cannot be touching anything else but the center platform,
including the mat, the ramp, the steps, etc...
I have an additional question that I am going to send to
[log in to unmask], but I won't bother you with it unless it
shows up in the Updates.
