It's always best to check with the referee first, especially since the robot position is relevant to 
scoring.   The ref should already have visualized a "snapshot" of the robot location when time runs 
out.  My personal habit has been to pick up a running robot and hand it back to the team to turn off-
-especially since it might end up disturbing other parts of the field during scoring.

If the team members think to tell the referee before the match begins that they would like to turn off 
the robot as soon as possible after the match is over, then the ref will likely give them a verbal 
signal, or hand the robot over.
