I would like to give a big shout out to the judges, referees, and volunteers who flawlessly put on an awesome competition on Saturday at GMU. Our kids had a fantastic time! A big thanks to Lakshi Meyyappan for all of her efforts to make sure the spirit of FLL was alive and well at the competition. Also, Team 12467, STARS, would like to thank a parent who let us borrow his powerbox from his Lenovo laptop. We inadvertently brought the wrong powerbox for our laptop, and the day would have been dismal had we not experienced the kindness of this gentleman who graciously allowed us to use his to charge our computer.
