I am a first time coach with a completely new team. We were given the
2012 Lego Mindstorm NXT 2.0 robot and kit (in excellent condition) from
a prior team that aged out. It also came with the CD to download the
software. Am I able to use this robot and software for this year's
challenge, or does my team have to spend an additional $400-500 dollars
on the EV3 robot and software? Also, wondering about all the fees and
what the money goes to. There is a $100 VA/DC regional registration fee
in addition to the $225 FLL national registration fee, not to mention an
additional $100+ tournament registration fee? Getting some serious
sticker shock from my parents...
