Page 21 of the robot game rulebook states:

"After 2.5 minutes, the match ends.
Technicians must stop their robot
and touch nothing else. This is when
scoring begins."

So, rather than sweeping it off the map, just have them push the stop
button, "and touch nothing else". :)

There aren't extra points for returning to home, and I don't think there
are any extra points for getting anything TO home this year.

Actually picking up the robot at the end MAY incur a precision penalty
(loss of one of the precision tokens).
