Folks:

If any of you have undergraduate students who have written particularly
promising papers in any area of philosophy, please encourage them to submit to
the SIUE undergraduate conference. Don Marquis is the speaker this year, and
attendees in past years have indicated that it is one of the best--most
stimulating, good speakers, good critical feedback, good philosophical
engagement--undergrad conferences they have attended. Review of submissions is,
of course, blind. This conference is organized almost entirely by our students
from top to bottom.

You will find the text-only CFP below my signature, suitable for copying into e-
mails to students and/or to the undergraduate program coordinator in your
university's philosophy department.

Feminist papers are, of course, welcome! Papers from last
year's conference were published in SIUE's interdisciplinary journal, Polymath.
We are in negotiations to reprise this opportunity.

Best,
  Alison
