Here is the Final Rule as published in the Federal Register today.

This started with allowing pharmacists to refuse to dispense RU-486.  It now includes a pharmacists' ability to refuse dispensing regular birth control pills because (and this is true) oral contraceptives can have abortifacient actions.

The regulation goes even further: it will also allow not just pharmacists, but even cashiers, to refuse to participate in dispensing HIV/AIDs medication because that person believes that these medications promote the homosexual "lifestyle."
