Or since we now know thanks to our scholarly attention to getting accurate
information that the soldier is giving it to the "commander in chief" (can't
write that phrase seriously), my partner suggested this:
"I spent $300 billion to send you to be nearly killed in an unjust war and
all you give me is this lousy T-shirt?"
