Dear Community Members: Assalama Alekum

 

According to authorities in Saudi Arabia the Hajj (Day of Arafat) will take
place on Thursday, October 25. Therefore Eid ul Adha will be celebrated on
Friday, October 26. Plans for Eid are given below:

 

1.     Eid prayers will be held at 9:30 AM on October 26 at the Islamic
Center of Shenandoah Valley. Directions to the mosque are available at
http://www.iasv.org

2.     There will be community breakfast following the prayer. Please bring
breakfast foods in generous quantities to make the breakfast successful.

3.     Overflow parking may be available in National College and Lowes Home
Improvement.

4.     Need volunteers to clean the mosque and prepare for Eid. Please come
to the mosque at 7:30 PM on Sunday, October 21 to assist with setup for Eid 

5.     Need volunteers to manage breakfast on Eid morning. Please arrive by
8:00 AM if you can help. Also need parking volunteers after 8:30 AM.
