Our team also uses Pybricks. A couple of years ago some of the kids on my
team asked if we could use python so we were happy to find Pybricks was
stable and very easy to use. We use VS Code and GitHub, which is pretty
much exactly what they will be using later in their academic careers if
they take any other programming classes. Learning curve wasn't hard at all.
