Hi Tim,

Welcome!

To answer your questions:

1 - check out the important dates for VA/DC here: https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__va-2Ddcfll.org_calendar_&d=BQIFAg&c=eLbWYnpnzycBCgmb7vCI4uqNEB9RSjOdn_5nBEmmeq0&r=J5fb0ELkRoh7TzAGYz99sSMvB-c7i4AC0HDT2OVPrww&m=BI6MWt4_izFlqqeztIAYlXVNgp1YEAnqc-C6srOoV_E&s=TjeYA4ttMI8bZyry37nEg5l1uUSryT9JWS1qfa3TPsk&e= (regional tournaments in Virginia and DC take place during the first three weekends of November)

2 - there are 25 separate regional tournaments across Virginia and DC (teams only participate in one regional tournament)...the locations vary and you can see them all at the calendar link above

3 - a set number of teams advance from each regional tournament to the championship in December - how many teams advance depend upon how many teams participate both overall and from each age division (the age division split isn't know until after the assignments are made - generally around 100 teams from across Virginia and DC advance to the championship)

I hope that helps,
Brittany

The information is very overwhelming, and we are a little late in terms of preparation. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys can help me with the information on the followings:
> 1. The important dates other than the ones listed on the websites. For instance, on the FLL websites, it says that Nov 14th - Jan 17th are regional tournaments. But when is it for us, the Northern VA and DC area? And where does it take place?

And when a team loses in the regional tournament, does it mean that they are done and have to wait till next year FLL?
