This isn't a casually obvious suggestion: as the battery charge wanes, the
robot performance changes drastically. Some teams prefer to use
non-rechargeables for this reason, replacing them before each tuning /
competition run for consistency (yeah, you wind up with a ton of barely-used
batteries that way, but we all have lots of things that use AAs!).
