We are excited to offer a 2 new events near you, both occurring on Oct. 13th.


Pitch an Expert:

Come join us for a unique opportunity to share your project with subject matter experts and local organizations!

Pitch an Expert will provide teams with the a unique opportunity to share their innovative ideas with multiple subject matter experts within the surrounding areas.  Additionally, teams will have 10 minutes with a number of organizations to discuss what it is these organizations do on a day to day basis.  This will allow your team to gain more experience and knowledge within the topic and the trials revolving around this year’s theme of space, so come with questions!!

If you are interested in participating in Pitch an Expert, please take a few minutes to complete the registration form.  There will be 2 sessions, one in the morning from 9:30am-12:30 and an afternoon session from 1:00pm-4:00pm

Currently, we have subject matter experts from Booz Allen Hamilton, the Air and Space Museum and many more to come!!

Preparing for your FIRST LEGO League Qualifying Tournament:



On October 13th from 1pm to 4pm Chantilly Robotics- team 612 will be hosting a “Preparing for your FIRST LEGO League Qualifying Tournament” tournament at Chantilly High School. At this event rookie teams will be given a glimpse of what a FIRST LEGO League tournament will look and feel like.  You will get an inside look to what happens in each judging room and how refereeing is conducted. Teams will also get an opportunity to present their research project/innovative solution to a FIRST LEGO League Judge for feedback and participate in a core value activity. Team members and coaches will be given a chance to participate in a Q & A session with experienced FIRST LEGO League students and coaches.
