I have arranged a Guest Speaker to present "Biomedical Engineering and Prosthetics" during the Coaches Workshop. 
Time 11 AM

Mr. Vishal Saxena is completing doctorate (MD) from University of Chicago in Orthopedic Surgery and currently Researching at NIH and Walter Reed Hospital, Bethesda, MD. His undergraduate degree is in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University and high school degree from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology. 

Probably you all are aware of FIRST Robotics founder Dean Kamen's DEKA Prosthetic Luke Arm funded by DARPA and US Veterans Administration, currently undergoing clinical trails at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC).  RIC's home base is at Northwestern University, IL. Come and explore, or bring your models and robots and come and play!
 
Scratch is a free computer programming resource that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web.
 
All interested students, parents and teachers are invited to learn more about Scratch and robotics, featuring Junior FIRST LEGO League, FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, VEX Robotics and Sea Perch—underwater robotics!
 
Attend an FLL Coaches workshop for beginners at 11am. Get information on how to register your team (registration opens on May 3rd).
