The guidance I got from a former FLL coach is that 4-5 hours/week is good
for a rookie team.  Maybe more for the older kids.  In our case, we're
planning a 1.5 hour project meeting every week and a ~2.5 hour robot
session.  Depending on how things go, we may add another hour, but my kids
are over-scheduled (as are most kids these days) and this is what we could
come up with.
