The challenge is released next Tuesday, 8/30 at 12:00 PM EST.   I am going to deferred until the challenge document is released to provide guidance.  I would hate to give guidance based on previous challenges that may not apply to this year’s challenge.

Subject: [VADCFLL-L] Question on Robot Reuse for non-rookie teams

 

Hi All,

  I have a question regarding robot re-use... specifically:

 

* Are they allowed to use the same robot base from year to year?

* There are lots of good FLL robots on sites like EV3Lessons.  If my team decides to build one of these robots and then modify it to suit their needs, how does that sit with the judges?  Is there any special 'credit' that they need to give?
