Teams, A BIG thanks to Kim Reedy for getting the technical issues fixed and getting the tournament assignments posted this evening!!!  The regional tournament assignments are now posted and can beaccessed at .

They can be sorted different ways so you can look up yourassignments by team number or by tournament. Make sure to look at the team numbers as with almost 500 teams competing thereare multiple teams with the same or very similar names.  Please also check to ensure that yourdivision is correct (this is based on birthdays that were entered so if theyare correct, you are in the correct division). Tournament assignments were made on a first-come, first-servebasis and a few tournaments were limited to only a single divisionbecause not enough teams from the other division selected those events(Manassas, Chantilly, Woodbridge and Abingdon). We were able to get just over 85% of teams into their firstchoices.  If you did not get your firstchoice, it’s because that event was already full bythe time your registration came up. While every effort was made to get those teams into the 2ndor if necessary, 3rd choices, there is a small number of teams thatwe were not able to place into any of their 3 choices.  In those cases, an effort was made to matchthem with an event based on the dates and locations of their 3 choices and pickingthe best matches.  If you did not yourfirst choice, please do not email us asking us to switch you into thatevent.  It is full and we will not havespace open up (teams do not drop out of events).  The ONLY events in the state with open spaceare listed below.   11/7/15:Newport News, Richmond 1, Glen Allen, Christiansburg, Harrisonburg, Alexandria,Ashburn, Manassas (div 1 only)11/14/15:Abingdon, Lynchburg11/21/15:Norfolk, Staunton, Stafford Any tournament or division changes will have to happen very soon as I plan to get the team lists to the tournamentdirectors early next week (the earlier I get those lists out, the earlier they can send you welcome emails).  You can expectto get a welcome email from your tournament director sometime in the next fewweeks that will have general information about their event (location, generaltimeline, what to expect, etc.).  Pleasedo not expect to have a detailed schedule until the event itself, though manytournaments will send out tentative schedules about a week before the event(these are subject to change so your team should plan to be at the event forthe entire time). Thanks and we look forward to seeing you all at one of the 25regional tournaments in November! Karen------------Karen BergerVA-DC FLL Regional Tournament CoordinatorNewport News Regional Tournament DirectorNorfolk Regional Tournament DirectorTo UNSUBSCRIBE or CHANGE your settings, please visit and select "Join or leave the list".
