Greetings to all teams coming to the championship!

I think my Student Activities group has finally got the correct activities out to parents - sorry for all the confusion but we run this as a class project.  It means we have lots of volunteers, but it's always their rookie year running the event.

This year we're hosting a guest team from Sweden!  This is our first international team - they're going to participate (not compete) so look for them at the tournament - and share your team trinkets.

Two things you may not be aware -

First, there is a LEGO swap meet on Friday night from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Harrisonburg's Explore More Discovery Museum located at 150 S. Main St in downtown Harrisonburg.  The Holiday Parade will take place immediately following so the main street will be closed but parking should be available on the side streets.  Admission is free.  We will give one zip-top bag of LEGOs to each participant who shows up.  These are pieces from old field setup kits so some parts are fairly rare.  http://www.iexploremore.com/

Also - The Harrisonburg High School Key Club will be selling the official championship t-shirt.  It's available in limited number (we only have 200 available) for $15 on Sunday.  Proceeds benefit their annual charitable project.  The championship shirt will be available to teams in RED - You can check out the design at: http://www.customink.com/designs/design4/bjt0-000s-epx5/retrieve - again that is available on Sunday only - payments accepted by cash or check (no PO or credit cards).
