Junior FLL is a different program that runs in the spring. FLL (in the US) accepts kids aged 9-14. Division 1 is for 9-11; Division 2 is for 12-14. If you have any kids on your team that were 12 or older on January 1, 2015, your team will go into Division 2. But I wouldn’t worry much about which division you are in. VA/DC will place you automatically once you put all your kids on the roster and you can have a great experience in either division.

Subject: [VADCFLL-L] Level 1 and Level 2
Good Morning,
I am brand new to FLL. I'm coaching a team in Hillsville, VA. I observed the regional competition in Abingdon last year. I remember there were two age levels for the competition, Level 1 and Level 2. Can any one please remind me what the age requirements were for the two levels? I have searched and I cannot find it.
Thank you,
Karoline S. Berg
