Does somebody know if the EV3 will still work with the current software? If we have the current NXT, and get a new EV3 will they be interchangeable?

I don't think it will matter to new teams as much as it will matter to old teams trying to decide if to upgrade.

Keep in mind that LEGO is fielding a new robot sometime this year and the cost is higher.  You’ll be able to use the old one no problem and they are durable so no need to buy a new one each year.

Recurring costs include: field setup, national registration, VA-DC FLL registration.

Does anyone happen to know what is charged for one robotics kit when you register through FLL?  I  found that the field set-up kit was $75 and the team registration was $225.  Also, was the VA FLL fee $100?
