Eric,

We had to have a cutoff for registering so that we could get all the students sorted out. It happened over our Thanksgiving break too - and was done by college students who were scattered around the state. I'm sorry if anyone didn't get the chance to register but the word went out to coaches as soon as we had it set.

We do have 3 activities that don't require registration.

The movie Up will be shown in the theater after opening ceremonies
We will have 7 FTC teams and 2 FRC teams in the Forum - students can talk to team members and (if everything works) drive some of the robots
The Planetarium at Miller Hall - one of the best in the state with guided shows in what looks like an iMax theater

Does anyone have information on how team members can register for the activities at the States Tournament? Our team has qualified for the states tournament but we are unable to find information on how to register for these actvities. i have already checked the following links, but besides the list of activities, I am unable to find instructions on registration.

Thanks.

Some info at the above link. Not much to see Saturday. All presentations are behind closed doors. The robot runs are on Sunday and the awards as well. Presentation boards in the pits on Sunday. So from a spectator point of view, Sunday is the best time.

It has been held at the high school in the recent years. Someone can confirm the address here.

My rookie team did not advance this year, but we are going to the championship as spectators - how do we find out what's happening and when - so we can be there at the right times to be amazed?

Other community activities in Harrisonburg will be open to the public, however. The public is also invited to view the robot performance competition on Sunday.
