It really isn't that difficult. It states that it may take up to twenty minutes but it takes more like five. It would take that long to fill out a hand written registration, which is what members needed to do in the past. I do agree that the site is a bit clunky and difficult to navigate but probably in an effort to go paperless, they are requiring online team registrations. JMO.
