Wonderhowto.com has many instructional videos on Lego.
http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-program-cascading-switches-lego-mindstorms-79065/view/

Here's a really useful one on cascading.

It doesn't tell you how to build things and meant for the programming side
instead. I suggest using the cascading one to build a robot that you control
the touch sensors for. You can either make a remote control robot that you
touch, or you can attach the sensors to the front of the robot and give it
commands.
People were helping my kids and me master that one just a few weeks
ago!

Since the Lego competition has allowed color sensors for the first time, and
the challenge is food- we can assume color sensing will be involved. If you
have colored sensors, my recommendation is to try working on those & to do a
pick up object task.
Regards,
Brandy

I'm looking for some free programming and building instructions for a group to
work on during the summer for practice.
