I have never found a way to go from robot to computer and have been told it
is impossible.
  The silver lining to this situation is it can make kids aware of the
importance of* writing stuff down!* Like measurements, what degrees they
finalized for a turn and other great notations.  Also back-up files are
sweet.  My team e-mails me their programs at the end of each programming
session, so that way- my computer fries, or the laptop of the Spinner
mission gets lost (or forgotten repeatedly)- we have not lost that portion
of our program for the meeting.
  If a student erases part of their program and you can catch it in time,
there is an undo on the program, or you can hit "ctrl Z" like a casino
gambler until you find what you're missing.   The Undo button has limits;
it will not go back and individually restore changes to the block's
variables.  It will only recall the block if it has been completely erased.
