Two Openings Available to Rookie FLL Teams
FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Fun Day - Saturday, May 14th - Osbourn Park High School in Manassas, Virginia - almost 500 elementary school students (4th/5th grades) will play the Body Forward game. The game is played with a LEGO robot and a computer program that the students wrote for the robot to follow.
In Prince William County 29 new schools have FLL teams this year. 2011 is their first year to play the game before they feel comfortable as a team and coach to compete in a real competition. This day is for fun and to experience the excitement of robotics. Robotics teams from local middle and high schools will be present to show off their robots and to show parents the progress of robotics in the K-12 arena.
Doors open at 7:30. Opening Ceremony at 8:30a. Closing ceremony at 2:00p. Pit cleanup and departure 2:30p.
