We have noticed this issue as well.  One thing that helps is to make sure that it is sitting level.
Another question we have - if both teams plan to do the animal conservation mission - do they just discuss before the run so that dont collide with each other?  If one team does the mission and then another, can the animals be changed by hand or must they be replaced by the robot itself?
ThanksNealTeam TAQ

Our model moved inconsistently sometimes faster than others. I did notice that there seems a speed that the robot needs to move the bar to get it to turn faster (not necessarily as quickly as possible). Also noticed that when I saw it moving slowly sometimes it was the result of the colored tray not being fully snapped together.  Ours would start coming apart after a few times of use.  Finally note from our experience that the biggest turns come when yellow bar it taken to it highest possible point.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,

Hello all,I have a question about the shared mission, Animal Conservation.  Our model moves fairly slowly.  It doesn't move very far per click, each time you move the yellow bar. Is this normal?  We have checked to be sure we have the model built correctly, and we think we do, but I wanted to see if anyone is familiar with how this model is supposed to work.  Ours takes a really long time to get it to go all the way around.
Any insight would be great.  Thanks so much!
