1.Can you stack the green bins on top of each other onto you West transfer, or must you put them in one at a time?  If the bins were stacked on top of each other, would they be considered ‘on the transfer’ (earning the 7 point per yellow/blue bar score compared with the 6 point per yellow/blue bar not 'on the transfer' or 'transfer area')?  If you put all three green bins stacked on top of each other on the West Transfer and the other team brought them to their side using the transfer, would all three be considered to have passed ‘by way of your West Transfer?’
2. How many points do teams start off with?  I.e. which black bars are considered when applying the 8 point per bar for bars in their original setup position?  The one’s I see are...
   - 4 black bars that comprise the soon-to-be demolished structure,
   - 2 black bars that comprise the toy packaging found inside the power plant,
   - 2 black bars that start on the sorter.
   - 4 black bars that the refs hold on to (for penalties)

Also, remember during setup to "insert the Compost disc, studs up. This is needed!"  This is described in Step 6.
Teams are going to know a lot more about which Models are sensitive or delicate than the referees do (at least for Week 1!), so please let us know what you see.

Ours works just fine.  If you're still having issues, maybe you could make a quick video and upload it to youtube so we can compare it with ours.  Make sure you show the problem, and well as some good/steady closeups of your construction.

Ours works great.  I would focus on how tight the moving components are within the model and make sure there isn't excessive resistance.

YES! Ours doesn’t seem to work consistently. Any advice or pinpoint of incorrect building would be helpful.  From: First Lego League in Virginia and DC [mailto:[log in to unmask]]On Behalf Of Sitarama Kalipatnapu

Subject: [VADCFLL-L] Composer mission model ***WARNING***
EXTERNAL EMAIL -- This message originates from outside our organization. Folks,We are having difficulty getting the computer mission model to work the way the challenge video shows. My team disassembled and reassembled a couple of times and still it does not work the way it is supposed to be.I am wondering if others are having similar issues with the composer mission model or it is just us. Appreciate it, if you can share your experience with the composter mission model. Thanks,
