I think you interpretation is incorrect. Based on the recent clarifications around it, the rule is:
If the "visible condition at end of the match" is that (a) truck supports all the weight of yellow bin, you get 50 points,(b) yellow bin is east of the truck guide, you get 60 pointsBoth options can be attempted.
So now.... if you say that "bin can be east of truck guide AND not necessarily on the truck" then my understanding is it won't yield 110 points but only 60 points. Reason being that in this scenario "the visible condition AT THE END of match" would satisfy only point (b) but not not point (a).
Understood that bin was on the truck "at some point in time" but if it is not the "visible condition AT END OF match", then it doesn't count. Little confusing but going in baby steps, one can parse the rules correctly.
Hope it helped.

Just to be clear on #2, to get 110 points, the necessary condition is the bin is on the truck and the bin is east of the truck guide. It is not necessary for the entire truck (with the bin on it) to be east of the truck guide, right? The truck is allowed to straddle the end of the truck guide, right?

When you knock it down, you lose those 8 pts each in original position and (unless you sort those bars into a bin), you also get penalized -8 pts each for "black bars elsewhere"  So, if your team does only demolition, it is worth 85pts. Your NET score after demolition will be 117pts instead of 96pts before knocking them down. Please note that the net gain from demolition is not a lot of points unless you do something with those black bars.)
