Virginia-DC FLL policy is very clear, and has been stated on this forum
before.

In all judging sessions, two coaches and one historian may attend to watch
the team.

Some teams come to judging without any accompanying adults, but that is by
the choice of the team, or the coaches.  Some teams find it distracting to
have coaches in the room, so we try to position you behind them.
