Greetings to all FLL teams in Virginia and DC!

My name is Steve Scherr, and I am your Referee Advisor for VA/DC FLL.

I will be following discussions on this email list, and I'll post messages
to let you know what I think about topics relating to the Robot Game, and
my philosophy for interpreting the game documents.

I also provide training materials for referees at Virginia and DC FLL
tournaments, and a bunch of you will see me wearing funny hats at
tournaments this season.

Next month, I'll send out a couple of emails to tell you about "What to
Expect at your FLL Tournament", but today, I'd like to focus on three quick
topics:
1) Table setup
2) Rules and the Game Documents
3) Coach support

Since "quick" for a referee is kind of chatty (see topic #2), I will send
these out in separate emails. [I think that they are worth reading...]

Best wishes for a great Nature's Fury FLL season!

Steve Scherr
VA/DC FLL Referee Advisor
