Greetings!

Let’s get a jumpstart on the new season, share tips and resources and  
make new friends in the District of Columbia!

DC Elementary Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)  
Festival on Saturday, May 19, 2012 (10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)

Celebrate PreK-5 Elementary STEM Activities from DC’s public, public  
charter, parochial, private and home-schooled students, featuring an  
EXPO highlighting wonderful and engaging STEM activities for students  
PreK-5. Schools will have an opportunity to highlight their students’  
work and present hands-on activities that involve participants in  
various STEM experiences. For more information, please contact Camsie

Scratch Day/Robotics Expo at Archbishop Carroll High School near  
Catholic University of America on Saturday, May 19, 2012 (10:00 AM –  
4:00 PM).

HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES AND WORKSHOPS: The open computer lab will provide  
assistance and workshops on using Scratch and Alice.  We welcome  
robots and teams that participate in FIRST, Sea Perch, VEX--and more!

Local FLL teams are invited to join College Tribe for a few days over  
the summer (preferably in July) where we all get together and have  
friendly competitions over missions that we choose.
