The Rules were rewritten for this year's Challenge and several have
changed. Rule 27 tells you what you need to know.

27. INTERRUPTION PROCEDURE – If you Interrupt the Robot, stop it instantly,
then calmly pick it up for the next Launch.

Where was the Robot Interrupted?
➔ Completely in Home: No problem.
➔ Not Completely in Home: Lose a Precision Token.

Your team may Interrupt the Robot at any time and anywhere on the Field.
When you do interrupt the Robot, bring it to the Launch Area to prepare it
to Launch again.
Your team will Lose a Precision Token if the Robot is not completely in
Home when you Interrupt it.

Sometimes it's part of the team's strategy to grab the Robot as soon as it
make a change out in the Field (maybe to save time and earn more points),
and sometimes teams try to keep as many Precision Tokens on the Field as
possible. That's your team strategy, and it's something that your team can
mention to the Robot Design judges when talking about how your team's
strategy relates to your design.
