Disclaimer - I'm a coach, not a ref. My answers are my interpretation of
the rules and could very well be wrong.

There is no restriction on how much food you can transport at a time.
Scoring conditions are at the end of the match only.

open container, closed container or an attachment ?
I would be wary of a closed container. I can't find it in the rules (did
it go away?), but that feels to me like you're attaching something to your
robot, which in the past has not been allowed. Like I said, I don't see
anything prohibiting a closed container, but I would probably advise my
team to steer clear of such a solution (though now, I'm wondering about
that).

container or closed container or attachment back to base or we have an
option to leave open container, closed container or attachment in the
animal target area ?
This one might require a more official answer, but I believe that the
answer is no. There is no "junk" penalty this year, which (IMHO) means
that you can leave things on the board. The only part I'm not sure about
is the nature of the container. *If the food is sitting in the container,
which is in the feeding area, would it score?* Technically the food is not
touching the mat, but the rule doesn't say it has to be touching the mat...
just in the circle. I would argue yes, but I'd be interested to hear other
coaches/ref's interpretations there.
