Dear Sally,

Great project, about the reusable bags. My family has been big on
those for years.

Even better, we've found, are collapsible crates. This URL shows the
style that we have. We bought two on a lark from Lilian Vernon (of
all places) several years ago, and have been using them heavily since
then. Each box is 23x16x12", and folds flat to 23x16x1.5". We toss
them in the back of the car and use them for all sorts of things,
including the grocery shopping and keeping things organized on car
trips.

We get funny remarks from grocery clerks, but they're generally
impressed. They hold a surprising volume and weight of stuff, they're
a lot easier to fill than a bag (which requires holding open as you
fill it), and we've not had one break yet.

Best of luck at the tournament!
