In the meantime, here are a few important dates teams can expect. * Season Launch: Tuesday, August 6th * Tournament Preference Selection Open: Tuesday, October 1st @ 10am – October 10th @ 11:59pm * Tournament Assignments posted by October 15th * Week 1 Tournaments: November 9th and 10th * Week 2 Tournaments: November 16th and 17th * Week 3 Tournaments: November 23rd and 24th * Virginia & DC FIRST LEGO League Challenge Champion: December 7th (Division 1) and December 8th (Division 2) *Timely* BAE Teams Grants: The FIRST®/BAE Systems Team Grant Application period is now open for FIRST Lego League (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and FIRST Robotics Challenge (FRC) teams. And, you must be at least 75 miles from a target location which with so many in our region, it is well worth it to apply! Important Deadlines and Notes: * FLL and FTC deadline: July 19, 2024 * FRC deadline: September 13, 2024 * Important: FLL and FTC teams should not check out or pay for your season via FIRST until you have confirmed receipt of a BAE Systems grant.
