All,
Check the link below for software and firmware updates.
If this is Greek (or Geek) to you, don't make any changes! What you have will work just fine and not be a disadvantage to your team.

You'll find an update from the current software (Version 2.0) to version 2.1 and a firmware upgrade to 1.31. The software patch only works on version 2.0 so if you have older software don't try it - version 1.1 still works fine. Version 2 added data logging capabilities which is great for use in schools but not required for FLL so there's no compelling reason to pay for the upgrade.
I have applied the software upgrade to Windows XP, VISTA and Windows 7 machines as well as to Mac OSX Snow Leopard and they worked well on all systems.
From my experience, version 1.31 provides a smaller firmware overhead and more efficient memory management than previous versions and adds some stability (brick locking) and data logging fixes. I upgraded my bricks from version 1.26 with no problem though the firmware flashing does seem to work better on the PC than the Mac.
