Charlottesville is hosting it's first *Maker
Faire*<http://makerfairecville.com/>on
*April 13th*. Besides an interesting event, it seems like a great venue to
promote FLL. The organizers don't seem to have a lot of time to respond to
questions so I'll put it out to this group: Does anyone know if there will
be an FLL or general FIRST presence there? Charlottesville has a lot of
room for growth in this area. Last year there were maybe 5 teams, compared
with 14 in the similarly sized Lynchburg area. I'd be happy to help promote
FLL coaching but can't commit to leading that and especially not alone.

There's a workshop registration
form<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHVYbm5UR2lMQWxvS1Q3ZzIwWkRRS1E6MA#gid=0>online
to sign up for presentation, workshop or booth.

If nothing else, I hope to see some of you there, especially at the Chaos
Machine<http://makerfairecville.com/makers/chaos-is-coming-to-charlottesville/>
.

Best,

Jeff Lavezzo
