Teams,
This is another friendly reminder that regional tournament registration ends at midnight on October 10th.  We still have about 100 teams that have not completed registrations so please either complete your registration or let me know that you will not be competing ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>).  Remember that this is the VA-DC FLL registration and can be found at https://vadcfll.cisat.jmu.edu/db/teamlogin.aspx.

Please make sure that ALL team members are included (so that we have you in the right division and there are enough participation ribbons at your event) and that your team name is updated.  The system will be locked after registration closes and you will not be able to log back in to change these things.

Remember that assignments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis and we have already seen some events be VERY popular with teams.  I have to wait to do any assignments until we see how the division splits end but understand that we will not be able to get all teams into their first choice.  Please keep this in mind as you select 2nd and 3rd choices.

We hope you are just as excited about the new City Shaper season as we are!  We're a few days away from the opening of the tournament preference portion of the VA-DC FLL registration at 10 am on October 1st!

Registration is open, VA-DC FIRST LEGO League teams are encouraged to start/complete the registration process now. Below is specific information on how to complete the registration process.

1.   Register FLL team with FIRST (team name, national FLL team number, coach contact info, etc.).  FIRST LEGO League teams MUST be registered with FIRST for the 2019 City Shaper season before registering with the VA-DC FLL Region.  FIRST will issue the FLL team number.

2. Pay the $150 VA-DC FLL Regional Registration Fee (due by 10/10/2019).  Make sure to use your FLL National Registration number.  Options for payment include:

a. Credit card online payment: An additional $3.00 credit card processing fee will be charged with this option. c. Pay by purchase order: Purchase orders are acceptable from any VA or DC school system. Send your purchase order to the address below. 3. Enter team member information (team member name, date of birth, etc.). Date of birth determines the team’s VA-DC FLL division – please be accurate and complete: https://vadcfll.cisat.jmu.edu/db/newaccount.aspx

4. Regional Qualifying Tournament Preference Selection (pick 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice).

Assignments are based on a first-come, first-serve basis based on tournament selection so starting registration now will not guarantee your preference but does give you ample time to collect team member information ahead of time.

You will be able to come back and make updates/changes as needed until the end of the registration period on October 10th.  We will send out reminders when we get close to the opening of the regional tournament selection portion.
