Thanks Karen for the prompt response.. I think I forgot to
ask about the robot design interviews.. I recollect that 2 adults were allowed
with the team in the interview/judging areas also.. I am thinking 2 coaches and
1 historian will be allowed in those areas too. All we want to do is record it
all for kids (and possibly new coaches) so that we can train them all well for
the following seasons.

I also understand Mr. Phil Smith's concern about limited space at FLL venues. If
anything changes prior to the tournament I am sure you will keep us posted.

The official VA/DC FLL policy is the 2 coaches and 1 historian are allowed in the judging room (this is the case for all judging rooms - not just the research).  Teams do not have to send any adults in if they do not want to, but are not allowed more than the three listed.
