I thought there was a one-brick-per-round policy. I'm not an official though, so don't take my word for it.

Depends on what you mean by competition. Page 18 states that you can only use one controller in any one match which I take to be a 2:30 minute round. Same page also states that you can only have 3 motors in the competition area at a time. So as long as you abid by the rules for the robot game you should've fine.

If you're question is about the robot design part of the tournament. That is an interesting question and I don't know the answer. Our team has 2 robots that do different missions. I was just planning to pick one of them for the robot design.

Just watch out for the limit on the number of motors allowed. I think it's a total of 4 regardless of the number of chassis used.

Are we allowed to use 2 different robots that share a brain and just change out the brain during competition?

If so, will that hurt us during the robot judging phase?

Thanks.

I have another question. If two balls come out of the ball game after you push
the lever, will the referee put one back, put both back, or leave it.

Thanks,
William Chen
