-well.. "near space". Back in the Spring of this year, FLL Team 90 ( Super
Nanobot Extremes) had been invited to build a robot for a High Altitude
balloon launch. After a long summer of team meetings, the kids finally were
able to produce a working robot for the mission. The launch is scheduled to
take place in the desert outside of Reno Nevada in about 12 hours.

You can find out more about FLL Team 90's creation along with other payloads
here: http://www.unr.edu/nevadasat/HALE/

We are all crossing are fingers and hoping that the payload will survive the
mission and the NXT will be returned intact so the kids can start making sense
of the logged data.
