Hello FLL Teams,

We are following up on the email we sent last week about the Sparky 384
LEGO drive to collect
gently used LEGOs for underserved schools in Virginia. We will be putting
together Jr.FLL kits with
these LEGO donations for teams that otherwise couldn't participate in *FIRST
*.

In addition to LEGO bricks and elements and old field set-up kits, we are
looking for 15 x 15 inch
base plates. We are in great need of these base plates, and would
appreciate any that teams or
families are no longer using.

To participate in this LEGO drive, please send us an email and we'll work
out the details. Many thanks for helping us "spark" a lifelong interest in
STEM in young children that may not have the opportunity otherwise.

Regards,
Sparky 384, FIRST Robotics Team

Hello FLL Teams!

We are a *FIRST* Robotics Competition (FRC) Team, from J.R Tucker High
School in Richmond. Sparky 384 was the Virginia Regional Champion last
year, and also the Engineering Inspiration Award Winner. We are hosting a *
FIRST* LEGO Drive, to provide LEGOs to children in under-served communities
in Virginia. Phase Two of this project, will be to provide LEGOs to
children in Afghanistan through our troops stationed there. Please help us
"spark" a life-long interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Mathematics (STEM) in young students who might not otherwise have
this opportunity.

We are collecting gently used LEGO elements and bricks to create Jr. FLL
team kits. If your FLL team has LEGOs or any field set-up kits you are not
using anymore, we would love to have your donations. Please e-mail us, at
[log in to unmask], if you have any LEGOs you would like to donate.

Together we can "spark" the future of the world's youth into a fun-filled
world of Science and Technology.

Thank You.

Regards,

Sparky 384
