Without a team of volunteers no tournament is successful, but their are some groups were supporting from outside. We forgot to mention two important Student and Parent volunteer group during the GMU 1 & 2 event, who helped build professional grade five new FLL tables to over existing tables. In addition the Chantilly Robotics FRC team 612 stayed after school and helped load and unload this tables from their Storage. As many of you know they hosted Chantilly event a week back. Hopefully you heard from our youth volunteers message to continue FTC and FRC events.

Another parent we forgot to mention Anne Meyer (Chantilly Tournament Director) for providing us Judges and Referee uniforms, name tags and clipboards.

There were few individuals spontaneously agree to help, when we needed help Managing Pit area game tables to clearing game tables. THANK YOU. We hope those advancing to the State Finals or even without teams please volunteer. The VADC FLL State finals hosts more teams then the World Finals, so help them out. Even our Head Judge and FIRST volunteer came from Maryland to gain some experience and seeking Volunteers for the Maryland Regional tournaments in December and January.

Once again, the GMU, Dean of School of Management Professor Sarah Nutter enjoyed seeing more teams filling entire ballroom and wished we had given her more time to interact with teams. Having such inspired youth and FIRST teams participate make the entire GMU's thirty three thousand student campus come alive on a sleepy weekend. Good news Professor Nutter has blessed us once again to continue FIRST tradition and agreed to sponsor the GMU regional 2014 year challenge "FLL WORLD CLASS" Learning.

Team Nexus Minds had a great experience at the GMU tournament . Thanks to the organizers, volunteers for all their hard work, everything went very smooth and it was a fun experience . I really liked that there were lots of kids judging the events , helping and MC the robot runs.

It is a great way to show the FLL spirit and a inspiration for all the kids.

Thanks Again,

Lakshmi

Team Lego Galaxy also had an amazing time yesterday. The great environment really encouraged the kids to some of their best team work.

We hope everyone is having as great a time today. It is truly wonderful to have so many dedicated volunteers!

>FLL challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers.  During FLL WORLD CLASSSM, teams will build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS® to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game.  They will also choose and solve a real-world question in the Project.  Throughout their experience, teams will operate under FLL’s signature set of Core Values.
