The robot and attachments are only so big.

The kit boxes that came with the Mindstorm weren’t very useful to our team.  We had a bigger rubbermaid box that we carried the robot in and cheap dollar store trays that we sorted attachments in for each mission.

I wouldn’t expect to go camping at the table, but I’d imagine there’s plenty of room for what one would reasonably have for the game.

Also, even though only two people are allowed at the table at a time you can swap out members, so you could have members waiting in the wings that get passed used attachments or have attachments ready to go for their portion of the run (if you’re running it like that).

If you’re going to do something “non-standard” or you’re not sure what is the standard always check with the referee before the game starts.

Thanks...I am just wondering how teams manage whose frames or attachments won't fit in that one box or on the table/chair provided?  Do you bring multiple boxes and just set the on the floor next to the table? I'm just trying to envision how they're going to manage this all.

Usually teams carry the robot and attachments in a box  (the one that comes with the kit) and a chair is provided to keep the box by the side of table.

Hi All...

I was wondering if teams that use frames or other large attachments for their robot handle them when they are at the table?  I'm wondering where the kids put them until they are ready to use them if they are too big to fit on the table provided?

Thanks so much!
