Riverside BEARS would also like to send a huge thank-you to Karen and all
the volunteers who organized a fantastic Newport News tournament!! We are a
rookie team that had no idea what to expect and, in fact, considered
dropping out on Friday before the tournament because we had two sick team
members (one participated sick) and we did not feel prepared. We decided to
come and have fun no matter what the outcome. Boy, the BEARS are glad
they went! It was such high energy and great fun. It was so well
organized, that our rookie team knew where to be at what time - no
confusion. Thanks so much Karen and all you other volunteers who made the
Newport News tournament a success ! And thanks to Crittenden Middle School
for hosting the tournament.

Subject: [VADCFLL-L] Thanks Karen Berger for a great tournament at Newport
News

I want to say thank you to the volunteers who put on a great tournament in
Newport News .. It was well organized and ran on time !!! My team had a
blast. I would also like to extend congratulations to ALL the coaches,
mentors, parents, and teams for the great displays of Gracious
Professionalism. Great tournaments don't happen by accident, it takes
EVERYONE working together to pull it off. Way to go VA & DC FLL staff !!!!
Great job Karen.
