From a judges position it is hard to determine if the team members actually
know how the program works if they is not a display of the program (print
out or on say a laptop) that the kids can point to and explain. Of course
the problem with laptops is they fail, they take time to start and judges
don't have a printout to remind them should two teams be strong and close in
judging scores.

Plus backups are always good to have and others have said.
